At Devine Sportfishing, we welcome everyone—from first-timers to seasoned anglers—to join us on an exciting Inshore fishing adventure.

Our Offshore Trip includes a 10-hour dock to dock trip. We can accommodate larger parties by securing a second boat. When you get in contact with us let us know what you are looking for and we can accommodate. Our Offshore Trip is designed to provide everything you need for a perfect Louisiana fishing experience: stunning views of the Gulf Coast, a friendly and experienced skipper, a custom-built boat, fuel, all supplied bait and tackle, and of course, some of the best fishing in the country.

We target in-season pelagic and reef fish.

Pelagic fish:

Bue marlin

Reef Fish:

Snapper
Grouper
Amber Jack
Cobia

Our skipper will clean and fillet your catch, bagging it and making it ready to take home for a delicious meal.

$500 Deposit due upon booking for Offshore trips. The remaining balance will be collected upon completion of your trip. Price does not include fuel or tip.

After You Book Your Trip:

You will need to secure your fishing license at this link. You will need to do this prior to your trip. The link will also be included in your confirmation email.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that seas are too rough for offshore fishing, we will offer the option to reschedule your trip for a later date, subject to availability, or you may choose to fish inshore instead. We closely monitor the weather and can keep in contact with you up to a week in advance to discuss any concerns regarding conditions. If weather conditions prevent your trip from going ahead, your deposit will remain valid for one year from the scheduled trip date, allowing you to reschedule at your convenience.

The Boat:

We can accommodate on the offshore boat 1-6 people, if exceeds 6 we will need find a second boat for some of your crew.
Notorious is our 2024 38ft Bluefin Performance is powered by quad 300 Yamahas. This custom build was made just for us fishing in Venice, La.

Housing and Accommodations:

We can accommodate your stay, whether you want a houseboat or a condo. Or if you want an all-inclusive option.

Location:

We are located in Cypress Cove Marina. DTR (Down the river) from New Orleans about 60 miles, in Venice, Louisiana. You can fly into New Orleans, or make the drive all the way. This fishing paradise has many options between offshore and inshore fishing.

What To Expect:

We have a 20 mile river run before we get out into the Gulf. From there depending on the time of year we will search for our bait to catch either in the cast net or with Sabiki rods. Then we will push offshore for the ultimate experience, fishing oil rigs, reefs, or open water.

Early spring we will target our bigger yellowin tuna, by trolling and top water action. We will also have by catch of blackfin. and wahoo
Spring time, we have more numbers of smaller vellowin tuna, along with black fin and maybe some wahoo still around
Summer time we will still tuna fish, along with sword fishing in the depths, and reel fish for snapper when the season allows.
Fall time we will primarily go offshore for nice size yellowfin tuna, ando Marlin
Later in the fall, we will stay closer once our bigger yellowfin move back in for us to target, along with BlackFin, Pelagius, Yellowfin, Swordfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Reef Fish, Amber Jack, Snapper, Grouper, Cobia
