Captain Blake Devine

Captain

Blake Devine

USCG Licensed & Insured · Venice Native · 7+ Years Guiding

Captain Blake Devine was born and raised in the bayous and marshland of South Louisiana. Fishing has been in his blood for as long as his family can track back. He has memories fishing with his great-great grandfather, and is fortunate to still share these experiences with his dad and grandfather today.

Blake has been guiding in Venice for seven years and lives in Venice full-time. His favorite moment is seeing someone catch their first fish of a species, or land a personal best — whether it's Tuna, Swordfish, Snapper, or Redfish. Nothing beats that smile when the plan comes together.

Captain

Lakelynn Devine

USCG Licensed & Insured · Inshore Specialist · Family-Friendly Guide

Captain Lakelynn brings the same USCG-licensed expertise and a genuine love for putting clients on fish. She's become the go-to guide for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a calm, patient, and knowledgeable captain on the inshore waters.

Together with Blake, she's helped build Devine Sportfishing into one of Venice's most trusted charter operations. Her instinct for reading the marsh — knowing where the redfish are pushing, where the specks are stacked — is second to none.

Our Philosophy

3 Big Fish Per Boat.

The legal limit is often far more than what's responsible. Blake and Lakelynn impose a self-enforced catch limit of 3 trophy-size fish per boat — well below the legal allowance. This isn't about filling a cooler. It's about ensuring these waters produce for the next generation.
